Authentic Tea Shop In Phuket Town
An authentic tea and slow drip coffee house in Phuket, Thailand. You can’t ignore this picturesque building sandwiched between two towering shop houses on Krabi Road. Great place to come for an afternoon beverage break!
I’m just strolling around through the streets of old town Phuket here. This place is really really cool makes me feel a little bit like I’m in Havana Cuba. I’m getting a little thirsty so this pin can quench that thirst right behind me between these two classic old buildings is this little old quaint tea house it’s a super cool place, it’s called RYN (r-y-n) they got a lot of tea in here, it is a tea house! after all, so something for you tea lovers but uh I’m in the mood for something a little different, they say they have a slow coffee bar. let’s see!
So I have my cup of coffee this crazy blend and I gotta say I’m normally the type of guy to pop into a Café Amazon get a 50 or 60 baht cup of iced coffee but sometimes I like to treat myself and this was indulgent. This is a 200 baht cup of specialty drip coffee and sometimes if you’ve been in Thailand for a while and you’re really missing a good drip coffee it’s worth it to splurge and if you’re in that kind of mood then come check out RYN.
The streets of Old Town in Thailand’s most popular tourist island, Phuket are filled with colourful, colonial style buildings that are a beautiful sight to see. This is a part of the island that’s full of history, culture, and entertainment. I wouldn’t recommend staying here on your vacation as it definitely has a more city vibe, and if you’re on Phuket, you’re probably looking for beautiful nature, water, and beaches, but it’s certainly a place that you should visit. The best way to get around Phuket is to rent a motorbike or a car, but for safety reasons I would recommend going with the car. Thailands roads aren’t exactly known for being super safe, and if you’re not a really good bike rider, you’ll feel much more comfortable in a proper vehicle. This teahouse specifically is located in the centre of Phuket’s Old Town and offers up really good authentic tees and slow drip coffee. It’s a perfect place to stop into on your afternoon walk around the Old Town. You’ll get a chance to experience some of the best that Thailand has to offer. One thing that’s amazing about this country is the fact that it’s not only Thai food and Thai drinks everywhere. There is an amazing assortment of international food and drink options in every major tourist location. You can get world class Italian food, high quality steaks, fancy cocktail bars, etc. This tea shop certainly fits the bill as a higher-end place to visit, but it’s absolutely worth it.
